Franchising History
Western Sizzlin has a rich tradition of excellence that it shares with its customers, employees and franchisees. Nick Pascarella, son of an Italian immigrant, and his wife Nora opened the first Western Sizzlin in 1962. One of the many reasons that their steakhouse was successful was high standards for food and service. The steaks were trimmed of excess fat, marinated, seasoned and seared to seal in the flavor just as they are today.

Our concept has expanded through the years, to include Western Sizzlin’s Wood Grill Buffet which is based on the same standards of excellence in quality and service.
